Situation in GTA

• The sim is in uncertainty: the former mayor is gone, nothing is moving forward.

• Dee (janetguise) declared herself Interim Mayor but immediately dissolved the city council and noted there is no judiciary system.

• This effectively places the sim in a state of anarchy.

Institutions under Anarchy

• Police Department (PD): Operates under Chief Ivy but no longer guarantees street security. Intervention is optional.

• Fire Department (FD): Free to decide whether to put out fires or treat them as BBQ opportunities.

• Medical Department (MD): Functions without regulation from City Hall; independent discretion.

• Other institutions: Each operates independently, sets its own rules, and may or may not enforce laws.

Laws and Governance

• The book of laws exists only on paper; with no judiciary, enforcement is up to each institution.

• Arrests by PD have no guaranteed outcome — it’s their choice what happens.

• The RP title has been removed: GTA is now called an Urban City Community.

• RP is optional: “Do whatever the fuck you want.”

  • Shoot or don’t shoot.

  • RP or don’t RP.

  • Freedom is absolute, but so is the risk.

Freedom and Consequences

• Citizens are free to organize, interact, harass, or ignore one another as they wish.

• With freedom comes pain: you can be insulted, hurt, punched, kicked, or smashed — and institutions may or may not intervene.

• Hospitals will not be funded by City Hall; they rely on donations.

• OOC sim rules still apply — the anarchy is strictly in‑character RP.

Dee’s Closing Notes

• Declared a state of complete anarchy: no micromanagement, gloves off, future is up to the players.

• Dee will continue working on the HUD and systems, but governance is left entirely to the community.

• “You want to get high and fuck in the middle of the street, go ahead, but don’t complain if I drive my car over you.”

• Encouraged self‑organization and self‑responsibility: “Be your own first responder.”

Essence

Dee announced the end of centralized governance in GTA. The sim is now an open sandbox where institutions act independently, laws are unenforced, and RP is entirely player‑driven. It’s framed as total freedom with total risk — an experiment in anarchy where the community decides what happens next.
